Participant Profile

We are looking for humble, Christ-centred believers, see participants profile Philippians 2:5-8. Are you ready to serve your Creator in whatever way He requires of you? We are looking for participants with a servant-heart, ready to be taught by and used by God during this project. You need to be prepared to work as a part of a team. Your team will likely be multi-cultural, so you should be ready to adapt, and accept differences in others. Although not obligatory, knowledge of French would be an advantage, to help communication with the local church and contacts that we meet.

Accommodation

During the outreach you may be housed either at a local church, or in church members’ homes. So, you may need to bring an inflatable mattress and bedding. We will confirm this in the last few weeks before the start. We hope to be able to provide separate accommodation for couples depending on availability.

Food

Meals may be provided by the local church. It may be that you also need to prepare some meals. You should be prepared to help with meal preparation and clean-up.

Travel

DO NOT PAY FOR ANY TRAVEL UNTIL YOUR PARTICIPATION HAS BEEN CONFIRMED! If travelling by train, you need to book and pay for your own tickets to and from the Church in Montreuil If travelling from abroad, you can fly to/from Paris (CDG or Orly), and take the local sburban train network and Métro to Montreuil. Further details will be provided if necessary.

Health

Participants should be in reasonably good health, ready for an intense outreach programme. Any special needs (food allergies, special diet, a good bed due to back problems, etc.) must be communicated as early as possible so that organisers can prepare to receive that person! Each participant should arrange personal medical insurance to cover the period of the outreach.

Visa

Some participants may require a visa. Those participants will need to begin their application process with the OM office in their country at least one month in advance of the application deadline given here. Please contact the OM office in your country for more information.
