Whichever programme you are interested to participate in, the joining process is similar.
Where there is a local OM office in your country, you must apply through that office and you are encouraged to contact them directly with your interest to join the Ship Ministry. You can find your local office at www.om.org/contact. If there isn’t an OM office in your country, please use the following preliminary application form to contact OM Ships for further information.
In almost all cases, you will be asked by the nearest OM office representing us in your area to fill out an application form. You may also be required to interviewed with a member of the OM office. To join for our 1 or 2 year programme, or if you are joining with a specific skill, the length of the application process can vary quite a bit from country to country, and it is advisable to apply at least 6 months in advance of when you are expecting to join.
