The REACH UK programme is aimed at those aged 18-29.
The programme will be split into 3 main parts: UK training (5 weeks), Race Across Europe outreach (6 weeks), Moldova training (7 weeks).
Training: The first 5 weeks of training will be based at The Quinta in the UK, the final 7 weeks of training will be based at the Mission Centre in Moldova and all focus on building a strong foundation in Biblical understanding, working as a team and missions discipleship. Training topics include spiritual formation and growth, Biblical basis of missions, evangelism training (both theory & practical), VCJF, cultural awareness training, teamwork & leadership, communication, Discovery Bible Study training, kid’s ministry, transition, re-entry and purpose & calling.
Outreaches: teams will have outreaches in a UK city and Moldovan village, as well as travelling across Europe from the UK to Moldova by train on the ‘Race Across Europe’ outreached putting into practice what they have learnt through the training times. Teams gain experience in evangelism & working cross-culturally in diverse contexts among different people groups, nationalities and backgrounds.
Mentoring: participants will be paired with an experienced Jesus-follower who will journey with them in weekly 1-2-1 sessions to receive guidance, encouragement and help in setting meaningful goals that will help the participant grow spiritually, emotionally and practically.
