You will partner with local organisations in making Jesus known and have opportunities to share your faith through a second-hand shop.

Based in the city of A Coruña on the North West coast of Spain, You will be attending a local Baptist church in Spanish, and helping with local ministries to reach out to local people. You will be involved with the church youth group and any other events the church might have during your time here.

Doulos Hope has been launched into ministry! We need People with a posture and attitude to do anything, anytime, anywhere. We expect that the first months up to a year will very much be a journey of discovery as the life and culture on board, the ministry and how that is shaped but also the manning on board will evolve. It will very much be an emergent process which you can be part of, as in collaboration we help shape and influence the way forward.

During this 2-3 month programme participants will: • Serve in our Ministry Center sorting & packing books. Other service opportunities are available on an individual basis depending on the person’s expertise. • Participate in the OM Ships Florence team life and interact with our international OM missionary staff • Experience the American culture and have the opportunity to visit one or two nearby cities (Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Charlotte) • The missions and mobilisation awareness weekly class provide provides fundamental knowledge that will help the participant to better understand missions and to engage better with different cultures. • Improve their English (if appropriate) • Visit local churches and/or participate in a local church.

The Disaster Response Training aims to give you an overview of the Disaster Preparedness and Response sectors, to build some transferable skill-sets, and to equip you to be a boost to any relief situation that you are involved with in the future. We will cover subjects such as: Humanitarian Principles, Working as a Team in Emergencies, Humanitarian Logistics, Emergency Needs Assessments, Decision Making in Emergencies, Security and Communications, Personal Travel Medicine, Working with the UN / NGOs / Host Governments / the Media in Disasters.

Africa Trek runs for three months at a time with Trekkies and Leaders learning and travelling together.

Every camp will have time for art crafts, worship songs, Bible stories,fun activities, games, good discussions, prayer and fellowship, fireplace and have opportunities to share Gospel not only to children, but to their parents or other family members. We will get program prepared for each project; feel free to add your fun ideas, share your gifts and talents for art crafts with us, we can include them and plan master classes together.
