Ministry details

Participants will serve alongside the local team in running the daily camp, taking part in children’s games, recreational moments and creative activities such as arts, crafts and music. Through these activities and daily interactions, they will help create a welcoming, joyful and safe environment where relationships can grow and Bible stories and the Gospel can be shared in age-appropriate ways. The ministry also includes time spent supporting the camp staff, team devotions and moments of reflection together. Participants will receive an introduction to OM Italy and the wider mission context in Italy, as well as the opportunity to visit some of Rome’s main historical and cultural sites. Flexibility is essential, as daily activities may vary according to the needs of the camp and the local team.

Participant Profile

We are inviting participants who have a heart for sharing Jesus with children and a passion for evangelism. We are looking for people ready to bring their creativity, curiosity, and flexibility to the team. Volunteers should be willing to adapt to a new cultural context and serve alongside the local church team wherever needed. Due to the sensitive nature of the ministry and the children involved, participants should be in good physical and emotional health, ready to engage wholeheartedly in this mission experience.
