Berlin Easter Outreach 2027

We want to share the Good News – and the real meaning of Easter – with the people of Berlin, with a particular focus on the immigrant community. At the same time we would like to encourage the participants in their walk with God and to help them learn and grow in boldness and skills with regards to evangelism.

Ministry details

The time in Berlin will consist of prayer, team training and workshops where you will learn creative, hands-on tools on how to share your faith with others. There will be daily street outreaches in various parts of the city.

Local transport tickets need to be bought by the participants themselves (11,20€ per day). Participants might not need a ticket everyday, as there is also an outreach location that is within walking distance from the meeting point. The program from the stage will be held in English and German, with a possibility for translation into Farsi, Arabic and Turkish if needed. Minors younger than 18 are also welcome if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Participant Profile

You walk with Jesus and want to grow in being His disciple. You are willing to learn and are able to be on your feet for a whole afternoon. You are willing to take public transport from the meeting point to the outreach locations (15-20 minutes, depending on the location).

Frequently Asked Questions

Accommodation

Participants will stay in a local youth hostel that is within walking distance of our meeting point. There will be shared rooms (men only and women only). Participants are also welcome to find their own accommodation at their own cost (in which case the fee will be adjusted accordingly).

Food

All dinners and breakfasts will be provided from the evening of 25 March through to breakfast on 29 March. As lunch will be eaten on the go at the outreach locations, participants should plan accordingly and bring some money for lunches/street food (around 10€ for a döner kebab and a drink). We are able to offer vegetarian meals, as well as lactose-free meals. For other diets, we will try and accommodate you as far as is possible - please let us know in advance.

Travel

You can book a flight to Berlin Airport (BER) or if you are arriving by train, to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. We will provide you with more details, such as directions, after registering. The programme on 25 March starts at 6pm with dinner, so try and plan to arrive in Berlin by 4/5pm latest. Departure is possible anytime on Monday 29 March (on the Monday there will also be an optional outreach in the afternoon, for those who are still in Berlin).

Health

You should have general good health and also be able to be on your feet for almost the whole day.
