A Bilingual Missions Training Programme in Portuguese & English.
REACH Brazil is a full-time, residential training programme designed to prepare participants for cross-cultural missions. You will gain an understanding of the Biblical basis of missions, and through classroom learning, practical ministry and mentoring, you will build a strong foundation to make disciples for Jesus.

Orientation & spiritual formation

This is an opportunity for you to serve others and with others selflessly.
Personal Mentorship: Each participant is paired with a mentor to encourage personal growth throughout the course.
Experiential Learning: A dynamic mix of classroom sessions and hands on ministry.
Amazon Outreach: Culminating in a 4 to 5- week Practical Ministry Experience among indigenous tribes and river communities in the Amazon basin. Travel for all outreaches is included in the programme cost.

Participant Profile
as a participant, you would need to:
Be at least 18 years of age at the start of the programme
Be competent in either Portuguese, English or Spanish
Have a love for Jesus and a desire to share your faith
Have a desire and openness to allow God to work in your life
Have a desire to learn, be challenged and grow as a person
Be flexible and be willing to live and work in a team
Frequently Asked Questions
Accommodation
Participants stay in dormitory-style rooms. There are separate blocks for male and female. Be prepared to grow in teamwork and service by helping to keep the training base clean and tidy.
Food
There will be a variety of meals prepared by our kitchen team and some by the REACH participants themselves. Participants will be expected to eat most meals together. Please let us know in advance of any special dietary needs (vegetarian, food allergies, dairy-free, gluten free, etc.)
Travel
Participants are expected to make their own travel arrangements to and from the base in São José dos Campos, SP, Brazil. The nearest airport is Guarulhos (GRU) International Airport of São Paulo.
Health
Participants should be in good health and able to do typical house chores, play games with children and youth and walk a reasonable distance without difficulty.
Each participant is responsible to obtain appropriate emergency health and medical insurance & bring any medications they take or need with them.
Vaccines: participants must be vaccinated against Yellow Fever and have an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP)
