OM Hungary has a vision for developing vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached in Hungary.
Hungary is a country of about 10 million people, boardered by seven countries. The evangelical Christian population is about 2.6%. Roman Catholics make up 30% of the population, but the country is also highly secularised, with 40% of people not answering a religious question. Evangelical Christians make up 2.6% of the population. Despite a millennia-long history of Christianity, evangelical churches are mostly small in number.
This is why there is a great need for evangelism in Hungary, STM groups and individuals work alondside our existing teams and ministries bringing a fresh energy and dimention to ongoing outreach. It is a structure that allows existing churches to be encouraged, new churches planted, the gospel to be shared, and the seeds of the gospel to continue to grow.
For this position we are looking for someone who has a passion for evangelism and enabling people from all walks of life to get involved in Gods work whatever their skill and passion. The role involves being a good communicator and planner, being able to clearly communicate between OM Hungary, churches or other local mission orgnisations.
