Fuad* lives in the Guba region of Azerbaijan, where the majority of people are Muslim. Since he was young, he had been looking for God, searching for truth. But when he looked around at his relatives and friends, he saw that their faith was not real faith. It was not true.
Fuad prayed, “God, where are You? What is Your way, the right way? Show me that way. That is the way I want to go. I want to find You, and I want to believe in You.”
One day, he saw a social media ad, which had been created by the OM in the Caucasus team, for a free New Testament and requested one. A local believer travelled to Guba, met Fuad, and gave him a New Testament. Fuad was very happy and stayed in contact with the Jesus follower. He came to believe that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and he gave his life to the Lord. Now he goes to a home church in Guba, and he is very bold in sharing his faith with others. He recently attended an OM disciple multiplication training to learn new ways to share the gospel and to disciple others. At that training, the believer who first gave him the New Testament also baptised him.
Pray for Fuad and other new believers in Guba to be strengthened in their faith and for new discipleship groups to form. Please pray for God to multiply the ministry.
