Operation Mobilization Norway is looking for a Church Mobilizer — someone bold, visionary, and deeply passionate about reigniting the missionary spirit in Norwegian churches. This is not just a job. It’s a movement. A calling to stir hearts, challenge comfort zones, and inspire a new generation to go where the Gospel is least known.

About the Role:
As a Church Mobilizer, you will be able to build strong relationships with churches across Norway. You will inspire and equip believers to engage in global and local missions, especially to the least reached. You will be an OM Ambassador and maybe often on the road travelling in beautiful nature.
In addition, you will be able to engage in our local ministry in OM Norway. Besides being a sending Field, OM Norway is now deeply involved in reaching out to immigrants and refugees living in Norway. Weekly activities for our team involve teaching Norwegian in our language school (three days a week), language cafés separate for men and women, Discovery Bible Studies and prayer meetings. Every year we arrange a free Children’s Camp for local kids, and every month we have a gathering of Muslim families in our homes. We are in a pioneering work of church planting, always seeking new ways of reaching out to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connecting with churches, Bible Schools, networks and individuals to see where they are at in their journey of mission engagement, and help them take the next step
• Inspire and equip believers to engage in global missions
• Staying updated on opportunities within OM Norway and OM International
• Striving to find ways to get believers involved in praying, giving and serving, and actively present these to believers in Norway.
• Organize events, speak in congregations, and share powerful stories from the field
• Collaborate with a passionate team committed to seeing lives transformed by Jesus
• Participate in local ministry activities
• Reporting to OM Norway’s Field Leader
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous cross-cultural missions or field experience, preferably with OM.
• Must be fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
• Ability to work cross-culturally and engage with different denominations.
• Emotional intelligence and adaptability in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently
• Having a driver’s license.
